Breast Milk Jewelry

I am so excited to share my companies latest venture.I am working with a local artist to create personalize breast milk jewelry. We finished our first piece today and I couldn’t be more proud of it. I feel like making jewelry like helps to normalize breast feeding and celebrate the beautiful gift our body has given us. The added bonus is the pieces are really beautiful and will be a reminder of their breastfeeding experience. If you are interested in purchasing a custom made piece of jewelry you can always email me or check out my website.

Birth Story

without_needles

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of working with a wonderful woman Silvia who is the creator of the THE PREGNANCIES QUEEN, to share my birth story. Silvia has taken on the mission of sharing positive birth experiences with the world, in an effort to help other women feel empowered and to help take the fear out of giving birth.

As most people know, I have a passion for helping people during pregnancy and childbirth, so being part of this project has been a dream come true. With so much negativity surrounding birth, it is a breath of fresh air to have other women who are working towards creating a positive message about childbirth. I encourage you to check out Silvia’s page and all that she is doing.

Have a great Saturday, and if you want to share your birth story good or bad, let me know! I’d love to hear it.

Wisdom Wednesday

quotes-about-goals-in-life

I have had a few set backs this past week, being sick and now I am flooded with school work that I have no desire to do and has put be behind on work. I could let this get me down and wallow in self-pity but instead I am choosing to let this motivated me. I am grateful I have the opportunity to do all of the things I do and get to work towards accomplishing my goals. I try to remind myself that just because things aren’t going my way doesn’t mean they aren’t going my way, they just aren’t happening in my time frame. Each set back makes me a stronger better person.

Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone goes and crushes there goals 🙂
